The Earth Care Fund

How the process works

  1. PatternBase calculates net platform revenue monthly.
  2. 25% is accrued into the Earth Care Fund ledger after reconciliation.
  3. Proposals are published with clear outcomes and consent requirements.
  4. Paying subscribers help shape which proposals are prioritised.
  5. Disbursements and project updates are published publicly.

Legal note: the Earth Care Fund is an internal allocation policy and is not represented as a tax-deductible charity program unless explicitly stated for a specific project.

Bitcoin reserve & treasury

Permaculture values self-reliance, decentralized systems, and transparent resource flows. Bitcoin shares that ethos. We accept BTC via BTCPay Server (self-hosted, open-source) with a 15% discount on Steward lifetime checkout. No banks, no middlemen, the same peer-to-peer principle that guides how we think about land stewardship.

Self-custody

Bitcoin reserves are held in self-custody using industry-standard security practices, not on exchanges.

Quarterly reporting

Bitcoin reserve balance, if any, is reported in both sats and USD-equivalent each quarter.

Not an investment

The Bitcoin reserve is a treasury decision, not an investment product. No guaranteed returns or preservation of value.
